I ran into my friend Maripat when Zora and I came to Columbus Square Rec Center. There are two parts of the playground: a fenced in place for the infants and toddlers and a bigger place for the bigger kids. It’s an idea that ought to be replicated more, I think. The playground itself is great. And the Rec Center offers a baseball field, a dog park, a sprayground, a rain garden with flower beds, and more. I’m a fan.
